Mercury is the world’s first fully modular, open source, infinitely expandable, universal camera system. There are currently almost 500 unique modules for Mercury. These connect together in various configurations to produce nearly any camera you want.
Theoretically, Mercury can connect any lens with any recording medium, past, present, or future.

4×5 Large Format Camera
The lightest and most versatile 4×5 large format camera ever made. Shoot big, take it anywhere!
Instax Wide Camera
Shoot the wildly popular Instax format with full creative control and any lens your heart desires! This is the first and only fully universal Instax Wide camera. Our Instax Wide system is also available as a removable back for our 6×9 or 4×5 cameras.
Medium Format Digital Camera
This camera can be configured to accept Hasselblad, Mamiya, or Contax digital backs. (We can also adapt these digital backs as removable, 120-interchangeable backs for our 6×9 camera.) More information on Mercury Digital Back options can be found here.
5×7
This is the world’s lightest, most compact, most affordable 5×7 camera, compatible with 6×17 roll film backs for the ultimate panoramic format!
Mamiya Universal Press
This special camera body can accept any Mamiya Universal Press back adapter. (We also have an M-Press Lens Adapter module that accepts Mamiya Press lenses in their original focusing mounts, and can be used with any of our cameras!)
ST (Stitching) System
The Mercury ST system is a collection of modules for the Mercury Camera system that enable fast and easy panoramic stitching with a medium format digital back, opening up entirely new realms of digital photography: higher resolution, panoramic photography with a wide range of large image circle lenses. HOW TO CONFIGURE AND ORDER A MERCURY
Some items can be ordered directly from our website. Just browse the site and look for Paypal order buttons.
Most full cameras, however, are ordered by contacting us, using the Contact icon to the right of any page on the site. Let us know what format(s) you’d like to shoot, and which lenses you’d like to use. Explain whatever you can of your use case for the camera. We will get back to you within one week and work up some options and quotes for you.
