I think that this is the most innovative system I have ever seen.and what graflex XL should have been. I have a xlsw w/ a 5.6 47 mm and would like to know more about my Instax wide options as well as how I could attach a digital back. Thanks, Bryan! For Instax Wide, you have two options with that lens (which you would need to unmount from the XL focus mount and mount on a Mercury helical lensboard; easy). You can use it with our Instax Wide Universal Camera, RS0 Version (designed for wide angle lenses) as a drop-in, easy solution, but without ability to use ground glass. For a more complex setup, you could get the Graflok 23 version of our Instax Wide Back, and use it with a special, ultra-thin version of the Mercury Body (RS minus 10) that we have recently developed. Any medium format Mercury body can also take our Graflok 23 Digital Back adapter (which adds 20mm to the film plane of the digital back, so couldn’t be used with your XL body). This digiback adapter, available for Mamiya and Hasselblad V mount backs, basically converts them into Graflok 23 backs for easy swapping with other Graflok backs (like our Instax Wide). Because both of these back types require you to make your camera slimmer due to modifying the film plane, they work with any Mercury camera and any bellows camera (such as a Century Graphic or Horseman VH-series camera), but not with hard-bodied cameras like the XL, RB67, etc. Mercury backs will mount on these cameras, but you won’t get the correct film plane.
